This represents a new and up to the minute field of activity for our long-established company.
Photovoltaics is a technology which converts the sun’s energy directly into electrical current (alternating current), and which does so cleanly, quietly and efficiently.
An inverter converts the current into alternating current. There is no need for a battery bank, since the solar power is fed into the public grid.
Our involvement in the field of photovoltaics ranges from plant engineering and construction to the manufacture of individual components, such as substructures and DC generator housings, right up to the inverters themselves. Our development of a transformerless inverter with a maximum feed-in power of 90 kW demonstrates the special investment in the future we are making in this field.
High output – compact dimensions. In addition to their amazingly low weight of just 250 kg, this inverter also has the sensor technology required to visualise the system data. Additional in-house developments include data loggers as well as irradiation and current sensors which are perfectly matched to our inverters.
